Jill Truax

A piano teacher with the Academy since 1998, Jill Truax obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Truax began her career with the National Symphony Orchestra’s Education Department in Washington, DC writing programs for young children’s concerts. Since then she has been teaching piano to all ages and performance levels for over 16 years.

In addition to teaching piano, Ms. Truax currently serves as the Associate Music Director at the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
